PROFILE

I am a fine artist and designer living and working in Bristol.

I was born in Croatia in ’68 where I graduated in Fashion and Textile Design in 1992 ( Zagreb, Croatia ).

I have painted ever since I can remember.

My beginnings were in figurative painting, from an early age drawing portraits of family members and endless still lives. However, although I still enjoy that, my present style has its roots in textile projects I did as a student

Design gave me an inventive approach to painting: I avoid conventional subjects, paints, surfaces and formats… Instead I use anything that inspires, excites and intrigues me

.I began work as a professional artist in ‘96 opening a gallery in Dartmouth, Devon with three other artists.

I moved to Bristol in 2003 and continue to paint full time, selling my work through a number of galleries around the country and working on private commissions.
